Pam Davey
Pam knows how overwhelming and devastating it can be to struggle with breastfeeding, as she has been there herself. When she had her first child she needed to reach out for help to get her new baby to latch. When she was finally breastfeeding successfully she discovered a newfound passion and wanted to help other women overcome any challenges they were facing to get their precious little one to nurse. She began attending La Leche League meetings and eventually became an LLL leader, which she did for over 8 years. She has a degree in Biology and Environmental Science, is a certified birth doula (DONA) and a registered lactation consultant (IBCLC). She lives in Edmonton, is happily married to her University sweetheart and has six beautiful children. She really enjoys her work with new families and would love to assist you with any difficulties you are currently facing so that you can experience the joy of nursing!

Erie Melnychuk
Erie graduated from the University of Alberta with a BScN in 2004 and has a background in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing, working with premature babies and their families. Wanting to pursue the area of lactation support, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2010, and has since put her focus on helping to support breastfeeding families. She is also an active La Leche League Leader, as well as (and most importantly!) a mother of 2. Erie believes that breastfeeding doesn't always have to look the same for every family, and that it is her role to educate and support the family to reach their own breastfeeding goals.
